December 31st 2023, Grace Notes

December 31, 2023

Welcome!
● We welcome with great joy our newest sister in Christ,
Alexia Claire Urrea, who will receive the sacrament of Holy
Baptism this morning during the worship service. You are
invited to share in the happiness of this sacred day with Alexia
and her family; cake and punch will be served in the Fellowship
Hall following today’s service.
Grace Congregation Council
● Joining Grace’s Congregation Council are newly elected
members: Jim Douma, Art Peters and Debbie Voigt, who will be
installed this morning; they will be joining existing Council
members Dan Alloway and Rik Maxey. Grace would like to
thank outgoing Council members Nicole Hurst, Jack Price and
Greta Roberts for their dedicated service to the church through
their elected terms, your congregation is deeply grateful!
Grace Family Tree
● Did you know that Grace Lutheran has a family tree? We do!
Our family tree is in the form of a Christmas tree located in the
Fellowship Hall. If you haven’t already done so, you are invited
to bring an ornament to add to the tree before it is taken down
this year! Please mark your name on it so that we can remember
you as part of our family of faith here at Grace and fully
appreciate the beauty of our family tree!
Disciples in Service
● There are printed copies of the newest Disciples in Service
spreadsheet available for you to take home today; they are
located on the greeter’s table in the Fellowship Hall. These new
schedules run through February 2024.
