LADIES OF GRACE
The Ladies of Grace are invited to the home of Karen Lindler,
445 Sunset Ridge Dr. Lewisville, for dinner @ 6:00 PM on
Tuesday, December 9th. What to bring? Please see the
sign-up sheet on the bulletin board located over the Greeter’s
Table in the Fellowship Hall. If you choose to participate,
this gathering will include a White Elephant (or Dirty Santa)
gift exchange (limit: $10).
POINSETTIAS
You will find a dedication slip inside today’s bulletin for a
poinsettia to decorate our chancel on December 21 and
Christmas Eve. You are welcome to take your poinsettia
home to enjoy after those services. Thank you!
GRACE FAMILY CHRISTMAS TREE
Once again, Grace’s Family Christmas Tree has returned to
our Fellowship Hall during the Advent and Christmas
season. The tree is decorated with special ornaments given
by each family at Grace. If you’re new to our congregation
this past year, please bring an ornament to place on the tree,
including your name; we look forward each year to seeing
the tree grow with decorations representing our Grace
family!
THE CHRISMON TREE
The word “Chrismon” is a combination of the words “Christ”
and “monogram”, depicted as symbols of Christ. The colors
of gold and white reflect His majesty and purity. Among
these symbols are six Resurrection Butterflies placed in
memory of Miriam Voigt, Judy Hinrichs, Leland Bailey,
Sally Williams, Billie Kirkman and John Lindler; those
Saints who’ve gone before us and now rest eternally with our
Lord and Savior.
ADVENT DINNERS & VESPER SERVICES
Grace will hold midweek dinners and worship on
Wednesday evenings in Advent; dinners are scheduled
at 6:00 PM to be followed by Vespers at 7:00 PM on
December 10 and 17.
CHRISTMAS EVE
Christmas Eve Service will be held on December 24th at
7:30 PM.
CHOIR CLUB
Choir Club will suspend their meetings throughout Advent
and Christmas. The weekly meetings will resume on
Thursdays from 6:30 – 7:15 PM beginning on
January 8th. This is a fun and educational time to familiarize
yourself with the upcoming hymns for Sunday’s worship
service and learn the history behind the chosen hymns, their
hymn writers and their connection to the liturgy. Consider
adding this opportunity to your weekly schedule, all are
welcome!
FOOD PANTRY HELP
Our outdoor FREE FOOD PANTRY is in need of more non-

noodles, and fruit cups are among the most frequently
consumed products, but any contributions will be greatly
appreciated.
