DISCIPLES IN SERVICE

It is time to make the Disciples in Service schedule for June

through August. Please consider how your time and talents

can support our congregation. Complete the form on the back

by April 26 if you are willing to serve in any of these roles.

Also, we need one or two additional people to help with

preparing the bulletins. This typically takes 1-2 hours each

week. You would serve for 2 consecutive months before

rotating to the other volunteers. Thank you.

500th SUNDAY WORSHIP CELEBRATION

On Sunday, May 3rd, we will be celebrating our 500th Sunday Worship service at 2:00 PM, with a reception to follow. We will also be blessed by the presence & preaching of our Bishop Dan Selbo to celebrate with us. Please join us for this historic milestone in our NALC assembly! NOTE: There will be NO 10:00 AM service that Sunday.

FROM FLOOR TO BED MINISTRY

On Saturday, April 25th, we will be meeting at City Lights Ministry to help build beds for children in need of a place to sleep. All construction supplies & equipment will be provided by City Lights Ministry. Please sign up on our bulletin board if you are interested in participating.

SOLUS CHRISTUS DONATION

Our local ministry partner Solus Christus is in need of plastic “Ziploc”-style bags of all different sizes (sandwich, freezer, gallon, etc.). If you are able to contribute, please drop them off in our Fellowship Hall.

CHOIR CLUB

Choir Club meets on Thursdays from 6:30 – 7:15 PM. This is a fun and educational time to familiarize yourself with the upcoming hymns for Sunday’s worship service and learn the history behind the chosen hymns, their hymn writers, and their connection to the liturgy. Consider adding this opportunity to your weekly schedule, all are welcome!
